Who We Are
Trayn is a fitness platform built for online personal trainers in India. It is operated by Akhil Rao, an individual founder based in Bengaluru, India. You can reach us at akhil@gettrayn.com.
By creating an account or using the Trayn app or website, you agree to these Terms of Service.

Who Can Use Trayn
Trayn is available to:
- Trainers — fitness professionals who create an account, complete onboarding, and subscribe to a paid plan.
- Clients — individuals invited by a trainer to use the platform at no cost.
You must be at least 18 years old to create a trainer account. Clients must be at least 16 years old, or have parental consent if younger.
Trayn is currently available only in India.

Trainer Accounts
Trainers go through a manual review process before being activated. Trayn reserves the right to reject any application without providing a reason.
Once activated, trainers get a 30-day free trial. After the trial, a paid subscription is required to continue using the platform.
Trainers are responsible for:
- The accuracy of workout plans and diet plans they create
- Their professional conduct with clients
- Ensuring clients have no medical conditions that contraindicate the prescribed exercise or diet
- Keeping their login credentials secure

Client Accounts
Clients are invited by trainers and use Trayn for free. Clients can log workouts, track progress, communicate with their trainer, and view assigned plans.
If a trainer removes a client or deletes their account, the client's data associated with that trainer relationship will be deleted. Clients can also delete their own account at any time from within the app.

Payments & Subscriptions
Trainer subscriptions are processed via Razorpay. Trayn offers the following plans:
- Studio — ₹699/month or ₹6,299/year
- Verified — ₹999/month or ₹8,999/year
- Certified — ₹1,499/month or ₹13,499/year
- Pro — ₹2,499/month or ₹22,499/year
All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
The first 100 trainers (across all tiers, counted cumulatively) who choose an annual plan lock in their annual rate permanently as a founding-member benefit. Once 100 founding slots are filled, annual pricing may be adjusted for new subscribers; existing founding-rate subscribers are unaffected.
Trayn does not use Apple In-App Purchase or Google Play Billing for subscriptions. All payments are made directly through our website at app.gettrayn.com.

Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use Trayn for any unlawful purpose
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Upload harmful, offensive, or misleading content
- Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or disrupt the platform
- Share your login credentials with others
- Use Trayn to send unsolicited messages or spam
Violation of these terms may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund.

Health & Fitness Disclaimer
Trayn is a software platform — not a medical service. The workout plans, diet plans, and fitness advice provided through Trayn are created by independent trainers, not by Trayn.
Trayn is not responsible for any injury, illness, or adverse health outcome resulting from following a trainer's advice. Always consult a qualified medical professional before starting a new fitness or nutrition programme.
Trainers on Trayn are independent professionals. Trayn does not certify, endorse, or verify their qualifications beyond the information they provide during onboarding.

Intellectual Property
All content on the Trayn platform — including the app design, branding, code, and copy — is owned by Trayn. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute it without written permission.
Content you create on Trayn (workout plans, diet plans, client notes) remains yours. By using Trayn, you grant us a limited licence to store and display it within the platform.

Termination
You can delete your account at any time from within the app. All your data will be permanently deleted.
Trayn may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or for any other reason at our discretion.
On termination, your right to use the platform ends immediately. No refunds will be issued for unused subscription periods.

Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Trayn shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to Trayn in the 3 months preceding the claim.

Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of Trayn after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
